Harold goes into his house across the street from the tavern, He goes in and pulls out an old chest from under his bed. He opens it and pulls out a very nice looking scimitar, 6 pistols, and some light weight leather armor. He dons it all and steps out his house and grabs a horse from a nearby stable. He nods to Jack and his men. You all should take a horse if you don't already have one. Don't worry about payin, I own the stable and all the horses in it. Harold hops up on the horse and waits for Jack to lead them to the ambush point.

Thank you Jack and his men get on horses and ride to the location. We leave the horses here as we won't need them. Follow me. Jack and his men lead Harold to the location in the trees where the ambush will take place. Now, we wait. Jack passes a bottle of wine around to his men.

Before leaving the horses Harold speaks up while still on his horse. Now hold on mate all that drinking might be making you a bit foggy headed, a few men need to stay on the horses and be prepared to run down the carriage if they decide to run. You ever see what happens when a group of men try to block a horse drawn carriage without horses? Ain't pretty. Harold then points a couple miles down the road. I am going to position myself over there behind the trees. If they try to run, me and a few of your men will ride forth and block them. Harold then begins riding his horse toward the spot he pointed at.

As if on cue, A large regal looking carriage is turning the bend, pulled by 2 large stallions with a short plump man at the reigns. There are 10 other horses each with a guard on it, 2 in the front, 2 in the rear and 3 on both sides. 4 guards on foot are ahead of all of them keeping an eye out for any ditches or obstructions that could get the carriage stuck. Harold watches from his spot holding up a hand to Jacks men, waiting for Jack to make his move before making his.

Jack and his men open fire, the relatively quiet and evening transforms into the sounds of rifles firing everywhere. Jack and his men expertly shoot most of the guard of their horses, jack being the best. Then jack and his men saddle there horses and charge the remaining guards, firing pistols.

The carriage driver snaps the reigns and the horses bolt off down the road, At the same time Harold and the men with him ride out, Harold in the front as he quickly rides by the 4 footmen and slashes 2 of them killing them, he then quickly blocks the carriage forcing it to stop. The 2 footmen, being the only guards left alive drop their weapons and raise their hands, as does the carriage rider. Harold hops off his horse and clutching his scimitar, opens the carriage door, his eyes widen a bit, and he closes the door and scratches his head, looking a bit confused. He sees Jack approach and he motions Jack over and opens the door again. In the carriage is little girl, who looks about 8 years old in a nice dress with her face in the bosom of an old maid holding her. Harold speaks up. You there, miss I thought this here carriage was driving the Governor of Prote's daughter to a friends house. The maid shakes and says in a fearful voice. Yes, his youngest daughter Sarah was on her way to a friends house. Harold looks back to Jack and says quietly. I suppose your contact didn't specify which daughter it was did he? I wouldn't feel quite right stealing from a little girl, but we can still make a profit off the guards possessions and horses. But if you want to see if there be anything worth takin in the carriage I won't stop ya. Ill just go and round up the horses that ran off. Harold hops back on his horse and rides off. Leaving Jack alone at the carriage, with the old maid and little girl trembling.

Jack steals whatever they can. He angrily sends the people on their way. Jack scratchs his head, HE knew that the oldest governor's daughter of prote comes to the port of Tortuga at this time of year, and always visits a friend on this very night. He then spies another carriage, a couple miles down the road. He looks through his spyglass, to see a young woman, with no guards, in a carriage with another young woman, whom he cannot identify. But he recognizes one of them as the person that they came for. Jack orders his men to get to position. There are fewer guards, 3 men on horseback. Jack calls for Harold to get to his post. Jack goes into the bushes and waits again.

Harold goes back to his post. As the carriage nears he hears something in the bushes nearby. He turns to see a snake, the horses notice it too, and before he can do anything the horses dart off scared. He manages to reign his in before it gave him away, but the others are not as lucky. They were caught completely off guard and their horses fling them off into the road and run away. The carriage driver and guards see this, and the carriage immediately begins to turn around while the guards rush forward and raise their weapons. Harold curses and rides off toward the carriage he shouts to Jack A BLOODY SNAKE SPOOKED THE HORSES. Harold aims a pistol and kill one of the guard, the other 3 return fire and kill his horse, causing Harold to fall into a ditch.
