Jack hurried to correct him, waving his hands frantically.

Oh, we never fought for that metal freak- we've just had to deal with misconceptions due to the unique nature of my officers.

Brian nods

Good to know, but we should still either head out now or try and calm down the locals. Before a fight breaks out.

Brian nods to Eric

Heading up north to explore and trade. You're welcome to join us, Carl here can answer any questions you got while I go and help make sure the locals don't start a fight.

Brian quickly heads out to the docks while Carl just looks at Eric before gesturing to the bartender

Wanna have a drinking contest see who can drink the most? I'll answer questions while we do so if ye want.

Brian quickly walks to the docks, where he says rather loudly.

Good news everyone, those strange folks you hate so much are about to leave. Don't need to do anything, but if you burn their ships, well then you're stuck with them! Now sure you COULD kill them-but they'd probably kill some of you in the process. Do you really wanna potentially die when your problems about to just go away? So how about you all go home and come the next morning they'll be gone. Not to mention they just look weird, and have no connection with that metal monster in the first place.

Most of the mob angrily go home, leaving only a few handful of people left. Carl meanwhile stands up and heads to the door

Well Eric, if you wanna join the expedition, just head north and catch up, I gotta go after my best mate.

Jack cleared his throat, meaning to speak with Brian a bit more before the fleet's departure.

Now, I will inform you- my ship is...unnatural. Very fast, and the wind has a tendency to blow in its favor. The fog also reduces incoming damage, and well...if we have to board anyone, it would be best if you kept back. Kalfu's twisted magics did strange things, and they fight like demons, with little regard for friend or foe.

Brian nods

Very well. Good to know. I'll keep all that in mind. We'll prepare to leave, and we can talk more as we sail.

Brian quickly shouts some orders for his ships and his new recruits to begin to sail off, as Carl quickly rushes back onboard the flag galleon. The fleet consists of 3 flag galleons, 2 Ship of the Line, 5 frigates, 8 sloops and a single old cutter being used by some women in robes.

Even leaving a bit behind the rest of the fleet, the Emerald Thorn quickly caught up to the fleet, pulling to the front with little time spared. In order not to lose the others, she in fact raised most of her sails.

Brian looks out to the northern sea and takes a deep breath

Well, this should be a fun journey. Wonder if Ellen will get along with those undead fellas. Got a bit in common after all.

On the small cutter, the captain of the ship Ellen looks to the emerald Thorn, and smiles under her robes and mask. She gives an order to send a message inviting all the captains to join her on the flag ship for dinner and to have a meeting between captains.

Oh I can't wait to do my little routine. Wonder how many will freak out. Probably not the fellows with the zombies.
