Bart puts the knife away, he raises his hands in mock surrender. He puts the knife away, and then laughs

You know what mate, you're right, that was foolish of me, I'm rather ill-tempered today. Guess I'll drink water.

roberts sits down, glaring

all right, I'll do better next time. Just one thing, consider in you calculations of determining what is rash, that most pirates, especially crew, would actually not be ballsy enough to threaten a man like Roberts, if you're wondering why, send me a message.

in my quotes I'm referring to you when I say Jack. That's somewhat a confusing issue honestly having your characters share a name. But what bart did is basically suicidal, and I just want you to know that doing things rashly and without thinking it through in this RP may get a character killed.

sorry, I was talking to space. He called my character jack

Frank and all his men put their guns down. Frank walks over to Roberts and sits next to him.

Look mate, I wasn't laughing at you, I just found the idea of my friend jimmy over here having tea in his bar funny. And so when you went and put a knife to my buddy's throat over here, I had to make sure you weren't gonna kill him. Id have to find a new bar, or deal with a new bartender. And I was being serious about the governor here. I notice he always buys tons of tea shipments, and has huge tea parties trying all sorts of new types and flavors. So if you decide you would like some real high quality tea, a raid on his mansion would be a good place to get some and id love to see it happen. Hell id join in too for the fun of it. But I think we got off on the wrong foot. I'm Franklin Frankie Frankson the Fifth. And based on your looks you must be Bart Roberts- I recognize ya off the posters, don't know what you did. But that's mainly due to the fact I can't read.

Frank laughs at that for a bit before speaking again.

Truth be told I'm not a very smart man, I blame the doctors for dropping me down a flight of stairs as a infant, but regardless good to meet ya.

Roberts laughs

It's all right, like I said, Im a rather ill tempered man, it's nice to meet you Richard. But I've got a question for you Richards, what do you know of this anti piratical fleet that's being assembled? All I heard, what's that our good king, is going to sent out his navy to teach us table manners, Nassau fell two years ago, Madagascar is next.

Frank just sits there patiently, not speaking just sort of looking at Roberts. After a minute or 2 he starts to looks around. Then he finally shouts to the people in the tavern angrily.

Hey which one of you jerks is Richard? Roberts asked you a question so answer him you bloody rude idiot before I show you some manners.

Jimmy the bartender just sort of face palms and calmly tells Frank.

Frank, I think he was talking to you, he just got your name wrong

Frank just looks at jimmy for a second then laughs.

Oh, okay my bad then. Well Roberts call me Frank otherwise I will get confused. And well I don't know anything about any anti-pirate fleet. But again, I'm not a smart man, as you just saw, so it might have went in one of me ears and out the other.

Roberts smirks

You've not heard? England, France and Spain are sending a fleet to wipe us out, I was wondering if you knew anything about it.

Frank laughs

I don't think the 3 of them would actually do it. I am not a smart man, but even I know that if they DID do it, they accomplish nothing. Sure pirates might be wiped out. For a time, but eventually any huge force they have here will be moved elsewhere, and with that a new wave of pirates and outlaws will come out. As I said, I'm an idiot, and even I know such a plan isn't a good idea.

Jimmy laughs.

Sweet lord frank, this is why your my favorite customer. Would you like another pint on the house.

Frank looks at Jimmy and shakes his head no.

No thanks Jimmy, I don't drink on the house anymore. Last time I did that I fell off the damn roof and broke a leg. You were there remember?

Jimmy doubles over laughing as do most of the men in the bar. Finally jimmy stops laughing and just hands him a pint. He speaks with tears in his eyes.

Nevermind frank, just have this pint for free.
