[Jack Teach]

Jack notices the man with the noisy leg. Jack eyes Homs suspiciously. Then jack looks away and turns back to his rum.

[William one eye]

Very attractive barmaid approaches the barkeep, One Eye smiles at her and winks. She leans over the bar and whispers to the barkeep.
The barkeep has a surprised look on his face. The barmaid places a large gold coin on the bar. The barkeep pics it up and places it in his coin pouch.
He then pulls a key out of his shirt that hangs on cord around his neck. The opens the covered spirit cabinet and removes a bottle and a glass from the cabinet. The bottle is fairly plain looking. He fills the glass and the barmaid takes it takes it to a man sitting in the shadows with several ladies.
It is not possible due to the lighting to determine who the man is.

I will also have a glass of that spirit, but I would like to inspect the bottle first

Barkeep hands Will the bottle. It is a brown glass bottle with a slightly green tint. The label is small and it is handwritten. It has a large C imposed over a Large V and there is some tiny print near the bottom. The print at the bottom says AKRO 1480. Will is surprised he smells the label. He smiles and places a large gold coin on the bar.

It's real, I shall have a glass.

The barkeep gets a second glass from the cabinet, fills it. places the bottle into the cabinet, locks it, puts the key down his shirt and hands Will the Rum. Will takes a sip, He smiles, he is now quite certain the man in the shadows is the person he is there to meet.

Jack, I must speak with him alone. I will be back shortly.

Will finishes the glass of rum and leaves the bar, heading towards the man in the shadows.

Jack watches William closely. He begins to advertise: My name is Captain Jack Teach, I need men to crew my ship. Yes gentleman, I am a mighty pirate, don't like that, don't join. Many people people leave knowing his pirate reputation, but many others sign on. In an hour, he has had 200 extra men sign on. Not just from the tavern, but from all over, as word spread quite quickly. Jack however does worry that he might get arrested, giving that his picture and crimes are listed in the admiralty.



Crimes include: Piracy, kidnapping, highway robbery, arson, looting,sailing under false colors, perjury, and buccaneer raids.

A young street rat comes into the bar, looks around and goes to Ellen, he whispers to her, she nods and hands him some coins. She and Brian get up and begin walking to Jack. Ellen smiles and says Havnt seen you since that battle in aiora. And unless your aching for another battle you might want to speed things along, just got word a few platoons of the governors men are beginning to arm up and march here. You got maybe an hour before they come knocking on the door. Of course if you need more time then that, I have a friend who can give them a point in the wrong direction, that would buy you an extra hour or 2. No charge even-I rather dislike the governor here, and making him upset over losing you would be payment enough.

Jack looks at her and grins. Another battle, I'm fine with that, I'm in command of the most powerful ship in these waters. No ship can outgun her, and no captain can outsmart me. All hands: beat to quarters!All of jacks men go to the 100 gun ship of the line and are ready for action. Jack at any time, could go aboard and command her in battle.

Brian looks to Ellen and says You know its been quite a while since our crew were in a fight, and had a good adventure, could be rather fun. Ellen ponders for a moment Well it has been a while, don't want my crew getting fat and lazy doing nothing but small jobs and fishing. And again, anything to spite the governor here is something I am a fan of. Brian go and prepare the rest of the crew, and be ready to leave immediately. Ellen looks back to Jack as Brian rushes off. Hope you don't mind a few more joining the fray. My ship certainly isn't a large one, but its one of the fastest in all of Avonmora- A cutter by the name of Cunning Linguist armed with 13 guns. I better go and make sure everything is in tip top shape.Ellen tosses a small pouch of coins to the bartender, and walks off while handing a small note to the urchin boy along with a few coins and winks to him. The boy runs off to finish his newest errand.

[Jack Teach]

Jack gets a longboat ready, just in cases he needs to go a shore. He sits and drinks his rum and waits. He goes out on shore and waits.

The Cunning Linguist(Abbreviated as CL from here on out) Leaves Port, and begins sailing around the area, patrolling while flying the Flag of Seaglory, Brian keeps a lookout for the ships destined to arrive, he spots a fleet of ships closing in, while on shore soldiers are beginning to roam the streets looking for Jack. Ellen sends a pigeon to Jack warning him of the coming battle, and begins sailing the CL around the back of the coming fleet and begins to prepare for a ambush on the rear ship. All sailors to battle station-Hoist our flag.The flag of seaglory is lowered and a flag of a cute kitten with an eye patch is raised. The first volley of shots is fired as the CL hits the tail ship of the fleet while staying out of reach of the fleets cannons.

Jack gets in his ship of the line, rechristened invincible. The ship lets loose its sails and flies a black flag depicting a skeleton toasting a cross. The gun ports are opened. FIRE! Fire spits out from the hull, cannonballs run forward ripping through wood and sail. The first ship in the fleet is destroyed and another has lost both masts, sailors swim in their own blood. The other ships spit fire straight for the invincible, shot after shot they fire, but to little avail. Ha ha! Shoot on, shoot on, your sport well pleases me!

A few of the ships launch several volleys at the CL, all of them missing as the ship swiftly turns and speeds past and around the shots, while hitting back at the larger ships. The ships, seeing they are unable to hit the CL, and are unable to sink the Invincible change tactics. They begin boarding the Invincible and armed soldiers begin attacking the crew. 3 ships begin trying to corner the CL, as it narrowly avoids being boarded. Ellen decides to disengage and gain some distance, knowing her small crew wouldn't last long against a boarding attack from a much larger crew. She sinks one last ship of the enemy fleets as the 2 remainder begin boarding the Invincible. Brian looks to Ellen, and says. Captain shouldn't we help them, they are outnumbered pretty badly. Ellen chuckles I'm sure they can handle it, besides, I have a gut feeling that more ships will be coming soon. Change the flag- We are going to go present ourselves as a scout ship and lead the reinforcements on a goose hunt. By the time they realize where Jack is, he and old One eye should have finished what they came to do, we get a nice payday, and the governor suffers an embarrassing defeat. The CL begins sailing away, changing their flag back to one of Seaglory, before firing one last shot towards the flagship of the navy, blowing the admirals sword arm off.HAHA, wow, the gods smiled on that last shot, should be a much easier battle for them now.Ellen says proudly, as they disappear into the horizon
