The bounty board generally has mostly offered poor value : woefully under-priced : take a current one : 50k to cast a Levi? What planet are they on? I think the bounties that work best are those which reward something that some-one is going to do anyway : so acting as bonuses for skirmish, plunder hits : where there is a financial reward in the action itself : but as an incentive to cast a card worth millions in gc, well, 50k aint gonna do it.

It draws in new players, who do not know the value of the card and want money. Thus how Deadking, bless him casted and lost a few ships.

Maybe before you post a new bounty, a pop up box appear telling you the 'worth' of the card and won't let you 'post the bounty' until its up that amount?

Which they can get off the Card Market and use the Gold market?...

should the bounty reward (for voodoo casting anyways) be in credits for this reason?

I think that is an interesting idea. Or at least having the option to list bounties in credit form. That could make it more attractive to use.

Suffered would remain the same, a contract is a contract. Just add a line Total Bounties Listed(Gold coin) and Total Bounties Listed(Credits)

Would it not be better, to assign a 'credit' a initial value (gold coins)then use it to convert to gold coins?

Either way, could work. But what would stop them from setting one credit bounty's?

Because of the changing nature of the market I think that may be hard to do and I still think some people will spam with low credit bounties.

Anyone could convert gold from bounties into credits, but an actual credit bounty may be more appealing to go after and we may get better values in bounty listings and more activity. I don't know if it would really work out like that, it's just a thought.

I find it underused too. Low rates too.

CJ, can this issue be looked at and possibly fixed. Somehow incorporate a minimum market value for the cards used and then if a player wants to add more they can.

I just feel because players list bounties to cheap it is not worth anyone's effort to claim said bounty.

(Every card has a value that is calculated on the last 10 market sales. Can this number somehow transfer to the bounty system when a player is wanting to list a bounty?)

Just spit balling an idea as I to feel it is under utilized and not utilized properly when it is used.

It won't be more used with a minimum price. Sure, some of those low bounties are weird, but that's really not a problem. Also the low bounties DO have their use. Limiting them is not a good idea.
