Role Play-Harvest in Hannes

Time for a new RP. Here are the rules.

1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6-This RP will be going on at the same time roughly as the Role Play- A Plague in Psaral. So if you have a character in one RP they can not be in the other unless you state said character leaves for another area.
7. The most important rule- Have fun.

This role play is going to be a 4 on the realism scale. So its pretty unrealistic.

In the Port of Hannes a tremendous harvest was gathered this year both by the famers and by the fishermen, so much was gained in fact that a humongous festival is being had to celebrate the good fortunes.

Invitations are sent to all the lords and ladies of the land, for exquisite parties and celebrations in the richer neighborhoods and areas, while those in the more industrious communities celebrate with sailor and pirate alike. Rum is being sold at an all time low, along with tobacco and food. Brothels are giving their ladies the day off if they choose for it, while those who work are offering all time low rates.
Even the guards celebrate with the commoners when off work.

In the port docks a few greeters are stationed to welcome any who show up-be they sailor or pirate-so long as they swear not to cause trouble or commit any crimes.

[Jack Teach]

A large first rate ship, sails into the harbor, it docks and its men go off to taverns and brothels. Jack teach steps off the ship, and strides of towards a tavern.

Carl walks along with Jack as they enter a bustling tavern. A young man is serving as the bartender quickly making drinks for all the customers while the barmaids are busy flitting back and forth to tables. He nods to Jack and Carl and motions there be seats available at the bar. Carl smiles as he sits down and Is given a mug of rum. The barkeep laughs as he says first mug for everyone is free. He sets another down for Jack as he starts cleaning some glasses.

[Jack Teach]

Jack takes a a drink of rum.

Bloody finally, some peace and quiet.

Jack lays his head back and sighs.

well the tavern is pretty full, so it won't be that quiet. especially with partying going on outside.

The barkeep laughs.

You must have had a tough time if you think this is quiet. But if you want more quiet we have private drinking rooms in the back for 5 gold a group. Rooms are more or less soundproof. Also got rooms to rent for sleeping. 2 Gold for them. Best rate in town and best beds too.

[Jack Teach]

Jack smiles.

Thanks mate. You know what would make this better?

The barkeep thinks.

Tobacco if your a smoker, a pretty young woman if your single, hmm. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Carl speaks up

A plate of delicious food.

Barkeep laughs as he slaps his head.

Ha, cant believe I forgot that. But if you want any of those things we got them.

[DezNutz]

A short, chubby man walks into the tavern. He moseys up to the counter and finds an empty barstool to sit on.

Lots of people here. I hope I'm not too late to get something to drink.

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks about.

I'm not a single man, that's what would make this better. Some tabacco would be nice though...

Jack pulls a long stemmed pipe from his pocket
