How unlike the good old days : one would wake up to find oneself stripped of purse and ships but was one upset? No! One girded ones loins and sent an invitation to the perpetrator to attend for lunch at ones club, thereupon, over several large snifters, both would regale each other with tales of derring-do and part as friends.
Nowadays, its all instant retaliation, dire threats and declarations of unending enemity! Which is totally wrong as such matters should never be announced until after supper!
Indeed, much politeness and decorum has disappeared from this great game : we weep for past times and worry they may never return!
