RP- Halloween Party

Carl, and his mates quickly and quietly leave the mansion, heading back to port as the morning sun rises, and the magic fades. Before he leaves he visits the kobold in the basement and points to a nearby tunnel as he hands him a small lantern.

That tunnel is a passage back to port that goes underground. I recommend you use it rather then go by land. That bird wants you dead I bet. I highly recommend you move fast. This house is going to collapse soon, along with that tunnel. Place is infested with termites, rotten wood and mold. A bloody miracle it still stands after last night, but it won't stand much longer.

A nearby wooden beam snaps and a chunk of the house collapses. Carl quickly heads out as he shouts as he leaves

I recommend you start running.

Leaving the mansion Zaps sadly starts walking thru the tunnel, increasing the speed at every breaking sound behind him.

At the other exit he had to take a pause feeling his bones shrinking back in pain. He was in his usual kobold form again.
And he stands breathing the sea breeze. He's Zaps of the Dragonkind!

The morning sun shines on the old ruins of the mansion, now just a pile of broken wood and stone. The 2 masked sisters return to the building and just sigh. The one with the white mask says to her sister sadly

This was our first house. Shame it's gone. Might as well just give it to someone else at this point.

The one with the black mask nods

Yeah. I think though that perhaps we should have a little party of our own on the next holiday-and teach the folks who ruined it a little lesson. Mel really shouldn't have crossed us like this.

With that the 2 sisters leave, already making plans of revenge.

And that's a good ending for this story I think-anyone can add on a final post or 2 to wrap up whatever your characters decide to do. Next story will be thanksgiving themed.

The parrot wakes from his drunken stupor just in time to hear the twins plan for revenge. He watches and listens as they walk inside.The bright morning sun causes him to wrench back his spinning head, squeezing his eyes shut, he squints and buries his watering eyes back under his wing. His head pounds like a waterbuffalo stampede, his mouth parched he mutters 'I gotta stop doing this...'
