Combat Rankings

I've been looking around. Haven't been able to find anything that explains how Combat Rankings work.

I'm concerned the most about Pirate Ranking. But I'm sure others would benefit if we can share the info for all rankings.

Can someone explain to me how the Combat Rankings work? How the scores are calculated.

There is a thread on the subject somewhere. Its still a work in progress and more metrics are to be added.I suspect the delay is in calculating the necessary weight given to each in the total score. I doubt we will get the full insight into those calculations perhaps its for the best to prevent folk gaming the system to max their score. Skirmishes, attacks and wins would be obvious point scorers for pirates.I dont know what weight is given to defences but would like them to factor as well.
