I guess idiots group together?
Don't get me wrong here, but are you not calling your own nation weak basically, and are you not at least partially responsible for keep your treasury safe and your nation. I would not be up so high and mighty if I where you and it took only 6 players with a rookie leading them to raid your treasury and get away with it
High and mighty? HAHA, you have no room to speak, especially since you weren't there.
No, I'm not calling the nation weak. Active players leaving because of not wanting to be involved in a war and inactive players refilling the council ranks doesn't make the remaining players weak. I myself spent almost every single gc I had in trying to save our ports. The only thing I had left was ~25M reserve to rebuild my fleets, which I still ended up using some of that to stop the raid. Others spent more than me and were also drained of coin. Hard to fight for control with few players and few resources, while still in the midst of a war.
What does matter in preventing a raid of the treasury is votes and outside of using a cheap tactic of taking turns as king to cast 20 Yes votes, they didn't have the baseline votes to succeed.
I'd like to see you in the same situation see how you make out.
The situation that occurred by the hands of others gave SDK an opportunity. SDK didn't just say, let's raid the USA treasury out of the blue. His success was entirely the result of a major conflict.
Funny how veteran players saw the same opportunity yet didn't join in. Wonder why that was?
So yes, with the situation at hand, any group of players with a good gold reserve for influence could have done the same as SDK.
