Acute observers of Avonmoran arcania will have noted the seemingly random arrival of wrecks upon the sea-bed : strangely uniform in number, being oft tween 140 and 160 hulls or so, these arrive without any correlation to the number of battles likely to have produced such wrecks. Pious souls attribute such events to the kindness of the Gods of Salvage, answering their disciples prayers : the more cynical sense the hand of darker and more sinister forces at work. One of the great mysteries of our age, perhaps never to be resolved.
