I found this article on purpose, because I was curious about the origin of the name of our world.

It is Irish for "From the great river".

In my language, Avonmora would be anagram of ''Nova mora'', meaning ''New seas'' and from the beginning I recognized it like that.
Anyway, it's a good name!

Edited: I forgot to mention anagram in Latin: ''Nova Roma'', meaning ''New Rome''.

If I had had my way, this place would have been named something with no meaning, but cool to hear, like Furgana, Juntayonum or something preferably like Dassem Ultor. Khair, its done and nothing's changing it now. I am welcome to renaming this land on my name.
