I concur. While we could chat about some not so relevant things. These points could easily be brought forth in the beginning of the next RP or the next times the characters meet. If this were just a general RP location where anyone could come in and discuss whatever and interact in whatever manner, we could easily continue as such. As this RP is part of a storyline, at this point in time, the story should continue on in a new "Chapter", so to speak.
