(35 turns)
(72 hours)(7 days)
Daily Upkeep and Taxes are set to zero for the duration.

No Pirates

Resistance : 35%
Piercing : 40%

Cost
1 Bribe
1 Pouch of Gold

2 Taxation
3 Hidden Treasure
10 Hands of Gold

Craft Time
144 Hour

Description : You get several Indentured servants to serve as crew and maintain your ships cannons until their debts are paid.

Every 48 Hours this is on you, you gain 24 Hostility to your nation.
Whatever

Up for discussion.

Normally I balance game mechanics, this or others, I put weaknesses, so other game mechanics can fight the weakness, but there is people who said, "What's the point if the action is bad for me". So, I don't do that here. But, I just can't help it.

Terrible

The issue with this card is simple : it lasts 124 hrs : you gain 24 hostility per 12 hours : after 36 hrs, you are a pirate, it no longer is any use to you. Unless you can find a pal to cast Hired Diplomat every 35 hours, you cant really get the full benefit of the duration of the card... except, of course, if you are casting this card on some-one else with that intent in mind, to turn them pirate : so, why fart-arse about with the lower tax and call it 'Tax Evasion'?

Nay mate, one loses 1 Hostility per hour, this means in the end, one will end up with 60 Hostility, Is means, the target cannot spam this forever, if not, will need the help of another (Hired Diplomat).

Got a better name for it? Feel free to say it.

You are correct, you lose 1 per hour... but its still an overall gain of 1 per hour, or 124 over the cards duration : which means getting 2 HD's cast over that duration : quite what is the point of it? You'd need a massive tax bill to justify the making cost : you'd need someone to cast 2 HD's as reqd to keep your flag : so, not much reason to cast it on yourself thus one must assume its intended to be offensive in nature, in which case, why present it as a tax dodge?

You are mainly bypassing paying your crew for this than really paying your country. I dislike this anyways.

For a lot of players this is :

1. Overpriced
2. Too weak.

Ah, It was my mistake on the calculation.

With the -1 per hour, it ends up being 120 Hostility in the end.

Edited.

Me and my terrible math.

I don't like the idea or the incentive of this voodoo. I don't think it earns a place. Someone can't take crirtism. If you are here to attack those who disagree, why even post in the forums?

I would appreciate your idea on this matter of being too expensive and weak.

Was the truth too hard for you?

You being the part of the voodoo team and all, or are not gonna do your duty? Or are you just a part of the team for recognition.

I like people like cap' D. He sticks to his work.

My duty be to sort bad and good voodoo, and cast my vote on it. I am not going to spill my heart out, but instead state my 2 cents.

If you want a more in depth evaluation.

Most payers have a taxes that revolves around 100k-300k. (I have a good amount of fleets, and mine is in the middle of that scale).

Reduce by 8? It is 37.5k even at 300k which is the max of the scale.

1 Bribe alone is worth way more than this save.

Sure you can factor in this as a direct counter to taxation. But a serenity can fix that as well. You gonna tell me that there should be a legendary card as a direct counter to a rare card? This is not powerful and I don't see it being a legendary.
