Title: Divine Journey
Rarity: Legendary

Reagents:
1 Expedition Journey
3 Master Craftsmanship
1 level 10 MoW

Witch Hut Level Requirement: 20 "Voodoo Master Craftsman"
Time to craft: 24 hours
Turns Needed to cast: 40

Curse Target: One level 10 MoW and one other ship

Description:
Your Mastery of the Voodoo Arts have allowed you to conjure a maelstrom so powerful any ship caught in it's path is torn apart, save for the mighty Man of War. This is not a normal voodoo storm however, the whirling vortex it creates is said to carry all who enter straight to Davy Jones' Locker. Fortunately for you a fully reinforced Man of War may enter the vortex and then reemerge with a magical artifact stolen from Davy Jones himself! Your ship will not be salvageable upon it's return but the stolen artifact will surely imbue otherworldly powers to a ship of your choice.

Effect:
Choose a level 10 MoW owned by the caster: it is removed from the game (not sunk since it is torn asunder by the Maelstrom and should not be retrievable by shipwreck search). Also choose any other ship owned by the caster. That ship gains the following abilities:
+1 level (even if it is already level 10+)
100% immunity to "Call Leviathan", "Call the Kraken" and "Sabotage" forever
+4 attribute points

Additional Effects:
The caster gains +2,000,000 fame upon casting the legendary card
The caster gains an achievement "Stole from Davy Jones' Locker: X times" (X is the total number of times he/she has cast this card).
A global event is created saying "Davy Jones is furious to find someone has stolen from his Locker!"

Discussion:
I love the idea of a super epic class of legendary voodoo. Such a card should be so expensive it warrants an achievement be given to the caster. If you ever played World of Warcraft in it's early years there was a sword called "Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker" which unquestionably commanded the respect of anyone who saw it because it took literally months of questing and an entire guild of skilled players to achieve. I want something like that in Pirates Glory.

I included 100% immunity to "Call Leviathan", "Call the Kraken" and "Sabotage" because sea monsters wouldn't DARE attack one of Davy Jones' ships (they don't realize the artifact it carries is stolen). Also one "Call Leviathan" could ruin the day for the proud new owner of a level 11 MoW. Of course the empowered ship could lose levels in combat or be sunk by cannons or captured... there's got to be some risk. I even thought about making it unable to sell to the shipwright and unable to dock in the private marina. That way it would always be available for plunder! Do you think it should not be allowed in a private marina? Is the artifact reclaimed by Davy Jones if the ship is sunk?

What other epic highest-tier voodoo can we come up with?
I'm excited to see more ideas!

Does this mean one can have a level 100 Ship?!? The legendary ship that everyone wants?!?
Getting a level 10 MoW is not as hard as you think, as for someone that doesn't have a big voodoo chest, even he can grab one with a few fireship/call, ambush and booty master. As long as there is one in the open waters. Having them in the open water is the hard part.

What happens to the cost?!?
This is a must, since it can lost level to the attacker. Where the attacker will gain bonus gold. Also, if the owner has less ships where the sink chance is not possible, this is very op.

Can the ship have its stuff upgraded beyond 10?
As, having it at 60 attribute, and it can't go up anymore, whats the point? Maybe for the bonus hp?

As it currently stands, -1.

I like the concept of this, I think there should be some way to reach a higher level ship, I think it should use something other than a MoW, as this would potentially just wipe out the MoW population.

I would rather see a NPC quest for an ingredient that requires the use of a MoW in a fleet to beat a boss to get the ingredient.
Ideally I would like to see something were you must visit every port and your fleet would gain danger so it would become visible as it sailed around. Perhaps you would have to visit the port and beat a boss in each port. You must beat the boss and reach then next port in time to catch the next boss before it disappears. Each time you fight a boss you incur danger, and each port movement adds danger. Beating the final boss would be difficult and if complete in time you win one ingredient that is usable for this spell. I think this should be set up so that is it is incredibly hard to accomplish. Also perhaps a limit that you can only run this mission, 1 time every 2 months, or some restriction of that sort.

Edit - Alternately - make the danger incurred very high so that it becomes very likely you could lose your MoW to another player, and then make no restrictions on how often this can be done as it would encourage MoW's sailing around with lots of danger on them. I think this would add a lot of action.

I like this voodoo, though I think that there could be a better name for it. (I do not see a connection to "Divine" with the description of the card, as Davy Jones is not a god.)

I think that it is a high cost for doing this (to make a level 11 ship, you have to lose a level 10 MoW), and I think that it is fitting for this. I do not think that there would be a level 100 ship, as it would be much more beneficial to have 99 ships that are immune to call leviathan, call kraken, and sabotage than 1 ship, so I do not think that there needs to be a max level that ships can have. And I like the achievement added for this as well. This should lead to more people using MoWs, which is something CJ said that he wanted to see.

In terms of CD's question about allowing this ship in the marina, I say that it randomly losses an immunity for being in a marina. So it losses immunity to either call leviathan, call kraken, or sabotage when it enters a marina. If it is removed and enters a second time, only 1 immunity is left. If it happens a third time, no more immunities. So this ship would be allowed to enter a marina, but at a cost.

Other than the name, the thing that I would like to see changed from how it was proposed is the requirement for a level 20 Witch Hut. I think that is too high a requirement for this.

There's still Fire Ship and losing levels in combat. Sooo, you'll lose a level 10 MoW each time it's attacked? Doesn't sound that OP. Don't forget MoWs are limited.

Don't forget about #1's cutter! It was high level and looked unbeatable.I guess this is where you got the idea Dung?

edit:
Of course it will be a beast for pirates with few ships and credits to buy more MoWs from the market

CD, can this be combined with the Pirate Flagship that will be introduced?

No voodoo should carry permanent effects. Regardless if you are trying to undermine the "too OP comments," I think that clearly applies.

I like the idea...

The one problem I am having with this is, it requires a lvl 10 MoW to disappear from the game forever. There are not an endless supply of these ships, which makes them valuable and also makes this voodoo not OP. It does however, take a great ship from the game, which is not what we want.

I like the NPC route of a story line/missions where in the end you fight a big boss to earn the "Talisman" that gains you the buffs for the ship you select.
