I posted this as a reply to a different thread, but I'm posting it on its own for more visibility.

Same here. :)

Now that you mention it, Captain Jack, the card graphic looks very similar to that game graphic. Maybe PG should have its own graphic, representing voodoos not like a CCG card but like (for example) a scroll?
Something like this:

The voodoo picture could still be placed in the scroll, as well as the voodoo text...

I also tried a naive attempt:

Sorry, I like the current look better.

The scroll just doesn't fit the look. But I do like the idea of a different background, just not that.

I like the idea but i don't think that scroll looks good. Maybe a community designed one would fit better. Or not a scroll. But the idea of a different background sounds good.

To me, PG voodoo look so much alike Magic cards but, well, that must be ok after all.
Seems like either people don't like the scroll-like graphic or my "critic" at all :D

the picture stands out on the scroll too much.
i like the general idea, but imo the image that belongs to a scroll is a line drawing with shades ofbrown, black and red.

the plus side of the card is that people know how to read those cards :)

I totally agree. Mine was an a mere sample, the suggestion being about changing graphic into a more pirate-like, not about suggesting mine.

As credited on the pic I used, I just took a scroll searching with google and edited it with MS Paint.
As an example. :)
