Voodoo idea Scurvy, and Lime lunches

Card- Scurvy-Uncommon-turns to cast-8 target player duration 24 hours.

Target player loses 10% crew per hour on all ships, or until only 15 crew is left.


and to counter this curse
Lime Lunches-Uncommon-turns to cast-8 target player-duration-48 hours
target player loses scurvy status, and is immune to scurvy for as long as this card is active.
Target player ships also gain 5% crew per hour.


let me know what you guys think, since I would like to see a voodoo that can hit crew.

This is the best voodoo suggestion I have read in a long time.

The basis in the reality of life on wooden ships is what appeals most for me.

glad you like it, I figured we need a scurvy card what it being a pirate game and all, and I also want a voodoo to hurt crew.

Actually I think its balanced just with Scurvy, as that it is only on 1 fleet, a counter is not needed, unlike Sow, it does not harm all the fleet of a player and need not have a counter because one can just rehire a fleet crew with 1 click.

good point guluere, I decided to change it to all ships, and increased amount of turns slightly aswell.

After that, you should find a counter on the fact that 10% of all the crew on all fleet has died, one doesn't want to go from fleet to fleet just to rehire the crews, when you have 40 fleets, you would wish that this curse never even been on this game, and also, because not everyone can be online at the time of the curse. This can make a player's fleet become useless. I have met pirates that hires spy to keep track on your online time and offline time, and when they know you are asleep, which is that I am asleep for quite some time, a problem will come out.

Just like SOW a counter is needed.

another good point, added a 5% gain to lime lunch. seems like the perfect counter to me now, also keep in mind that you yourself does not need to cast lime lunch, if a guild mate sees you have scurvy he can help you out with some vitamin C :lol:

That wouldn't make sense now would it? How does eating lime make people reborn?

it doesn't, but pirates join the crew for the delicious lime cuisine. you can make lime pie, lime smoothies, lime sherbert, limeaid, might not technically be lunch, but theres always time for dessert :lol:
