(Uncommon) Piracy

What is the purpose of this card?

Right now all it has done is change the nationality of inactive players to Pirate. I believe you can change your nationality back if you didn't want to be a pirate...

This card has given a few ports to the Pirate nationality because inactive players don't change their nationality back.

From another thread:
Additional Information:
Only Citizens are vulnerable to this curse. Anyone that has gained at least one rank within his nation cannot be targeted.

This means it will become even more worthless.
I prefer to bear the hostility for attacking same country rather having a useless card in my inventory.

Perhaps you can make this a quest (for those that sneakily become same nation with you) or add banishment options to the country leaders and ultimately replace this card with something else.

We have a card in mind that will "recycle" cards you do not need. Like use 5 or 10 of your existing cards and get either a purify or serenity or duplicate card. Such a card would need few time to be developed too (only a few hours)

We can replace it with this perhaps.

That sounds great! That would be a very powerful card though... There are SO MANY extra common cards I wouldn't even count the detruction of 5 cards as a significant cost if I get a Serenity, Purify or ESPECIALLY a Duplicate.

Could it be more like a reroll sort of card where you spend 5 turns and it destroys 2 cards to give you an new random card which could be any card in the game? That way a player with 300 rather useless common cards (and 60 Piracy cards) wouldn't end up with 20 Serenity, 20 Purify and 20 Duplicate cards. 20 Duplicate cards are incredibly powerful.
