Transfer Warehouse

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

Transfer Warehouse

Postby Roberts » Wed Apr 15, 2015 4:26 pm

Name : Warehouse Transferal...
Type : Rare
Turns to use : 20
Lasts : 24 hours

Transfers players warehouse to another player : Player that cast will swap the warehouse the player targeted... Lets say , Aye Cappy has a level 100 warehouse which is a ship building port, and a new player in his guild looked promising... He swaps his " building port " Over to the designated player...

Lets face it : One of the hardest things for new players to do is get warehouses filled with resource : So if they need to build trading ships : They can use your warehouse for 24 hours...

Yes , i know how this card could be used offensively... Perhaps giving it a lock to only cast on guild members you are able to cast on?

Sorry for mentioning your name Cappy : First name that came to mine... No i am being serious...
Civilian:Are you insane? One pirate against trained pirates... Who do you think this man is? God?
My Leader: No. God would have mercy. He won't.

Just a while back, Capt Jack mentioned this in another thread:

First of all, ships already are the most important part of the game. If you do not believe me, try to do anything without ships and you will realize it.

So i'm guessing this card that u're suggesting is meant to overcome that "little" problem of having sold almost all of your ships?

I do not see this post : No actually it is not a problem : I have iron golems synster... go buy some voodoo.... And also check out your fame rating , right at the top like usual... Oh nevermind you edited your post....

And secondly i already have up to 8 ports with all resources in : So i am in no short supply of resources to build ships....

Well, i did mention that i'm guessing the motive for your card suggestion. And guessing does imply a certain degree of uncertainty. So no need to get all defensive on me, when i'm just commenting on your suggestion with a quote from Captain Jack, which i find relevant to your current situation. Nothing wrong with that. (btw the post can be found in the thread which is currently the 6th from the top in the tavern, since u said u haven't seen the post)

And regarding purchasing of voodoo and its implied correlation to fame, well to me there is none, and i've been among the top and the bottom, without having spent a single dollar. Not that i don't enjoy the game, or against supporting game developers, but i prefer spending my money on tangibles.

By defensive, i mean the following:

very anxious to challenge or avoid criticism.
"he was very defensive about that side of his life"
synonyms: self-justifying, oversensitive, thin-skinned, easily offended, prickly, paranoid, neurotic

Simply google the word, u can find it easily..

back to the topic :

I don't see the need for this card : we can already cast iron Golems to help out new players : we can send gold to level up their warehouses via banks or voodoo (Treasures or Gennies) : we can send turns to help them build (self sacrifice) : we can cast useful voodoo to enable them to earn their own gold ( via NPC farming) : I don't see where giving them a warehouse full of stock for 24hrs is any more helpful than that?
