Psoramagos

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

Psoramagos

Postby Francois le Clerc » Sun Jan 18, 2015 2:13 pm

cost:100 turns
rare curse
no fail
stack 2 every 12hr period

every time a player creates a new fleet a duplicate is created that goes on the shortest route from the port without givig danger.

Duplicate-fleet cannot be attacked and is only available for 24hours. Can work on only 7fleets for day per card

Might be just me, but i find it too complicating to use.. So going by your definition, it is pretty useless since all u get is a phantom fleet with 0 ship, since technically it says "u have created a new fleet" when u click on "create a new fleet", it doesn't actually add in any ships for u..

Might consider changing it to [create a bat clone, or whatever clones vampires use, of an existing fleet] or something though..

Could be lots of fun : example : I create a fleet with, say, 4 sotls in it : create the duplicate, then disband the original and put them back into other fleets : now I have a 4x sotl fleet at a cost of 100 turns, not a bad investment at all. So, off I go on the hunt : hit as I please, gain as much danger as I please, cos after 24hrs... poof! It's all gone! Yep, I think I would enjoy that very much. One potential problem : if I get slammed, and lose the ships in combat; do they still disappear after 24hrs? If so, the player who captured them is going to be a little bit miffed... if not, well, it doesn't require a great deal of imagination to think up ways that it could be used in a somewhat unethical manner.

But imagine the fun to be had...

EDIT : my bad, OP stated the fleet could not be attacked.. even better... well, unless it cant attack either... in which case... just what is the card meant to achieve again?

you can attack players
but players cant attack you unless using a duplicate fleet too.

also if the other player takes your ship it will be replaced(never leave a ship behind)

This card would have too many regulations behind it and is confusing me, remember K.I.S.S.

It is an acronym, means

Keep
It
Simple,
Stupid.

It means that simipler is typically better and parallels Occum's razor. It is a common rule of thumb to use
