Disagree with this one also : we already have cards that cost more to use and do less re: influence.

For the love of all that is holy, why does everyone object to any curse having to do with influence?!

we have a card that allows us to take money from another player, a card that allows us to take voodoo, a card that allows us to take fame, a card that allows us to take unfleeted ships... the only things missing here is a card allowing us to steal influence and a card allowing us to steal turns. Adding these would just balance it out more.

I dont object to curses to do with influence : I think this card would unbalance the ones we already have as its use would be much cheaper than them, and its affects upon the victim greater : example : why use a propaganda, which removes 5% at cost of 10 turns : when you can use this card and remove minimum 3% from them and add it to yourself : thus creating an effective 6% swing. get lucky and its 10% effectively : you are asking for a card which combines charity donation and propaganda into one cast, for fewer turns and with a bigger pay-off... thats the unbalanced part, not the existence of such a type of card.

Absolutely not. I wish I could just put a disapproved label on this but the only thing I can say is, Danik renoir is right, plus this mainly already exist. This thread should end here.

so, even adjusting the price to make it more balanced won't help? Fine, I see now that my suggestions will get nowhere around here, so i'll just stop. No more suggestions, of any kind. This is the result of a blatant refusal to compromise at all.

Don't just stop with the suggestions. But maybe think about the a little more. Some aren't that bad.

Well, I just look for something missing and suggest something to fill the empty space. the problem is:every time the suggestion involves influence, an Roileon gets involved, he shoots it down without any discussion at all. I would at least appreciate some discussion and a chance to argue about why my idea should be kept.
