Fearsome Alias Card

Methinks an uncommon rated card that allows you to change your name for less than the 25% fame loss would be good, or perhaps a 'rare' rathed card that allows one name change for free (admittedly this is for largely for selfish reasons, my name isn't piratey enough but I do not wish to lose 5mil fame XD)


It would use up a lot of turns, maybe as high as the whole 200 for this one off event. The player's ID and nationality etc would remain the same so it is more for fun than actually trying to disguise who you are.

Maybe someone could come up with a new name for it too, as mine's is a bit unimaginative!

Sounds like a good idea. Which just need a better title for it and we will implement it right away.

Rare, 25 turns, selfonly.
Artifact, 24 hours (So you can use it to baffle opponents who won't pay attention, although ID will remain the same).
No matter how many nicknames you change under the affect,they will cost no fame penalty.

Title should be relevant to mechanism/card type and if possible descriptive.

The name is right (awesome I must say). I will delay this card for now though because there is a case we might put this as a country mission (You will get 2 options to change username; 1 with fame OR by accomplishing country missions).

Reason is that this is something rare and even if we suppose that everyone will change his nickname like 2 or 3 times, still the voodoo he will stock will be much more. So even if we make it a rare card, it will become useless in the long run.

Like Rotten Food and Piracy cards for example. Especially Rotten Food will become obsolete soon and will be replaced with a new card.

This is obsolete. Name change cost 10% now and we don't need a card for it.

We could make a card to completely disguise for a number of attacks (and till danger is 0) but this belongs to another discussion.

I think i suggested something like that...

Here it is more formalized.

Rare Card: SCOURGE

For 1 hour all attacks will be anonomous and incur no danger. Limit one use per 24 hours. 100 turn cost.

This is a wonderful rare-card idea. The most important part is: "Limit one use per 24 hours". Also a huge turn cost is necessary to make it hard to use to it's full potential. Also, self-only.

Implementing a card that entirely skips the danger system does not sound well. We want to improve the danger system, by adding more rails that lead to it. A finite number of attacks sounds more balanced.
