Personally I think the cost needed for this card will not make me want to use it myself, but it could still be a good suggestion if others would like to use this. Sure, anonymity is nice, but it will be rather limited what you can do with this card. Voodoo still works normally, and that's where the REAL attacks happen.

One question then, how can it be archived? Presuming one player will be after a Man of War at the time - How will he be able to archive it? Are both sides battles lost to avoid all traces? Perhaps this is a downside to the card

I am still against this card - For want this doing, do it yourself. * Insert Harons comment here about contact whoever *

Whilst, this would involve a lot of script whilst Admins could be making Port Blockade or other things

I agree that if this requires too much code work (it might), it is not worth it. It is not an important card, in my opinion.

And of course the better option is always to hire someone to do the plundering for you, but that goes without sayin, Avery! ;-)

It's easy to code.

Then I see no reason why this should not be among the new Legendary cards. For those willing to pay a fortune to attack anonymously.

(Psst! It will usually be cheaper to hire the T'zak Ryn to attack for you instead!)

I don't know how it would be hard to code. Just a simple if/else statement...

Change the display name in events, battle logs, Recent Battles/Guild Battles, and Archived Battles.

A function like this already exists for undercover voodoo.

You will just get BNW to do it, no? With his HTML?

Still do not know what to think of this card.

That's an interesting argument. If this is going to affect Merc hiring then I am strongly against.

I find it off-topic for players to consider the development time of a feature when the devs have not expressed anything about it. Or even expressing the very areas that the devs will hypothetically encounter difficulties. In a development topic. I find it even more off topic when the devs reply back and you still use the response to troll another user. I think I have read more than enough posts coming from you regarding coding/html and whatever relative.

I also see no reason to show any lenience: 1 more warning. 1 left before a weekly ban (it will be your 3rd ban: viewtopic.php?p=6905&f=2#p6905 )

Do not quote me back here, only via PMs. Keep on topic everyone, thanks.

That depends. If the card has a time limit, then it's possible. If it affects the next 6 attacks, I really doubt it. To properly attack someone, voodoo is usually needed. And THAT will be visible. If anything, this may cause people to hire us to cast voodoo, while they do the attacks anonymously themselves. Let's say, for instance, that someone wants to steal the ships from a certain fleet. They hire us to cast the voodoo and lower the gold from the target, but when the time comes to actually attack and steal the ships, they cast this voodoo and attack themselves, allowing them to get the ships. And stay anonymous.

I really don't see anyone using this just to attack six trade fleets anonymously...

Exactly. This is why I said there should be a time limit instead.

And I see this would not replace Mercs. They still offer a lot of valuable services.
