(Uncommon) Distraction

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

I agree with that. Only mentioned them coming off the board when attacked as the original suggestion says they stay on the board even after attacked. (unless I read that wrong)

Me : Makes simple suggestion.

Everyone else : Gives good and understanding review, wants it complicated

Me : Make complicated suggestion.

Everyone else : Gives bad and misunderstanding review, wants it simple.

At this point, I don't even know anymore.

That is true. It stays after getting attacked. Because the original only effects one fleet per cast.

Well I wanted to keep it simple but it seems that everyone wants legendary cards and everyone is impatient for witch hut like they were for banks (as far as older players told me) but then they wefe dissapointed and only few players were able to pull out 100% of potential out of them... To be honest I never liked and will never like witch hut addition because it will solidify that this game became voodoo glory instead of pirates glory

Hence why I am more focused on ship abilities and battle mechanics ;).

That part would bring in strategy if things stay same with voodoo like now because you will need testing things to find solution and best set up but with everyone making voodoo suggestions and forcing witch hut and legendary cards no matter what you do this will become voodoo glory

Would you like all voodoo removed Wolfie? Surely, we all realize that if that happened, the rules for combat had to change dramatically for the game to make any sense? I believe the effects caused by voodoo are absolutely necessary. Without the ability to increase danger to a target's fleet, for instance, there would be no attacks at all. Unless, of course, the "danger drop per hour" rules were removed, and all fleets were visible all the time. In which case trading with large fleets would be impossible.

Perhaps the effect caused by voodoo could have another name. Or be tied to "special ships" somehow. But that would just be semantics. It's the EFFECT that counts. If I get to light up people by "voodoo", "scouting ships" or "port inspection", it's all the same to me. I don't care what things are called, I only care about the effect. So perhaps if you don't think of the cards as "voodoo", but rather as "special effects" or something, that would help?

What we need is a testing field, and free server for people to test suggestions that they made to see fit or not to be implemented. All we need is a server for testing, too bad...Oh wait.

The suggestion group can put a suggestion to test or not, if suggestion is good after test, maybe add?

Far from that I just want equally possibility for merchants to defend aggainat someone with 10 ships and voodoo chest. Which brings me up again on those 15 seconds before top of the hour it is too op no matter what you say but people lime you or other pirates never want to admit that but you all are first on the line to bash any way that people want to protect themselves.

But we are off topic here it is about auggestion and I am in favor of original prepoaition but also if not like that then like legendary that effects all fleets...

So far all merchants could only defend themself, or just hurt the pirates but cost themself more.

So having both a better way to hurt them or just a cheaper protection would be good. But when ever there are them, pirates would use them to hurt merchant more than merchant can hurt them with it.

When ever there is a suggestion that would help merchants they would start a butt hurt arguement.
