Temp equipment

because, if I have noticed correctly, the most stat points you can get per level on any ship is 5 (I am not entirely sure about that, just guessing). If each ship can only go to level 10, then the most attribute points you can have is 50. thus, the most any ship could have total is 56 and at minimum 53 after using this. So, really, it isn't as overpowered as you are saying... that is why it should be able to stack. and, if you are going to raid someone like CDV or Capt. Dungeness, then making it last for only 4 attacks is kind of pointless.

Actually, the most a ship level can go to is 60. It happened a lot when people cast the other card that permanently adds an attribute. Your math for why it isn't overpowered is overpowered right there. And if you're going to raid a merchant, why would you need to have extra attributes to hit trade fleets? Are your raiding fleets that ineffective? I saw this card as something you cast on your battle/war fleet to try to even the odds or better your odds against another person's war fleet, not as something to make your raid fleet not terrible.

Fair point, though it doesn't mean my math is incorrect, it means that i forgot to take that card into account.

Besides, this answer to another person's question:

would by default mean that if the highest it can go is 60, and that would max the attribute points, then no more can be added by the use of this card. Some message would have to tell the player that the points on that ship cannot be increased any more than what they already are

Okay. Seeing that all my questions have been answered to the fullest, and most concerns have been addressed, I support this card in its original form as seen by the first post. The only thing I'd like to also see is a 25% chance the card will fail. The message could say, your equipment has broken or a lazy craftsman didn't measure right. +1.

Target ship

Efftect: target ship gains 1-2 stat points at random. points can not exceed the maximum limit on any given stat(i.e. if said ship has 9 points in the randomly chosen stat, then only 1 point will be applied)

Can stack 3 times

25% fail chance

Duration:8 hrs
