Ultra Rare Curse idea

Ultra Rare Curse idea

Another card set that can only be unlocked through doing bad things to other players, such as attacking 10 different players 10 times or sinking a man of war with levis. Or Maybe even becoming a marquess in 3 different nations. To unlock these cards will be really hard and a player will recieve one ever 50 hours, with a 50 % chance of getting a rare card and a 50 % chance of getting an ultra rare card. These must be claimed like all other presents and there may be another mission to do to get more after a certain period of time recieving them.
Ultra Rare cards would be cards like Total Booty Master-steals all the money from target player. Destruction of fame-Steals half of fame from target player, Undercover forever- All curses cast by target player are undercover for 24 hours. Unterminating trade routes- Trade Routes attacked are not terminated for 12 hours, Beast Tea Company- All goods sold are 10 gold more, Unpurifable- Curses on target player cannot be purified for 2 hour, Warehouse Destruction- Has 50 % chance to destroy warehouse and goods completely, Bambuzzled- Player has 90% fail chance to cast a curse, Turn Saver- Gives you 400 turns instantly, Recruitement- Gives you 10 of the same officers, No favor-Player loses 1 danger rating per attack 12 hours, Magpie Choice- steals any curse in a players inventory (you get to choose), Mindbar Mover, 10 curses you cast go through a mindbar 24 hours. Instant Travel-All fleets reach their destination immedeatly, Ship Upgrade all the way- Ship reaches level 10 with 60 attributes, Influence King- target player's influence grow's 30% in all ports, Unattackable-player's fleets cannot be attacked by anybody, Ultra Rare Purify- Instantly Purifies a Ultra Rare Curse on a player, All other factors including mindbar, countercurses, and confuse are ignored. Hurricane- Ships arrive at their destinations 200% faster 12 hours, Calm Seas- Player's Ships don't move at all, Damage- All player's ships have 50% damage Occurs Immediately, Instant Danger- All fleets have +3 danger. Disease- Wipes out 20% of the player's officers, NPC Glory-All NPCs are treasure fleets, Impress the girls- All the governor's daughter's hearts go up to 100%. That is all i can think of for now but i would like more ideas......

Wow, you were right when you said in another post that people don't seem to like one another. I just realized who dislikes with the greatest fervor.

This isn't not liking anybody. Everybody can be my friend!!! After everyone is done with the nations feature we could do something like this. And captain j got the voodoo cards in the first place. Why not more?

those are some intense cards, you might aswell make this supra ultra rare

I included all the ones that wouldn't make it as sending or claiming presents regularly. And i made this a 50 % chance to even get an super ultra rare card when you claimed it. There could even be a credit amount taken to claim the cards or to start a special extreme mission, or there could be a mission and you would have to beat it in a certain time. There are many ways in which unlocking the cards are incredibly hard for big players and little players.


Or even better if this was a nation or player attack you had to do, such as 1000 ranks on players, or sinking of a 100 ships. Or there could be a merchant one such as attacking npc's from 20 different nations. Or you could even choose your mission and give up gold/fame if you didn't complete it.

I think you have something there. Quests that cost credits to play would be worth exploring if they were interesting enough. The payout could be great voodoo that has been suggested but was too far-fetched to simply be added to what exists currently or it could have been too much of a challenge and I walk away with a loss but have had an experience that helps me grow as a leader or a tactician. One problem is the time required to develop this would be great and the development team is overtaxed as it is. Unless players are interested in helping to come up with the challenges and the devs are willing to find out whether your suggestions are rip-offs from other games, it's unlikely that this will come any time soon. We are still waiting on some approved ideas to be implemented. Then there's the question of whether the return on the investment will be worth the trouble. I think there would be too few interested players.

Maybe i should change this to a mission where if you are a King you get a ultra rare curse every week. Or maybe something like you have the most profitable fleet for the day 3 times you'll get one. This won't have to be in a row of course. Or maybe something that causes fights to get one like cast 30 different cards that are undercover on 30 different player's that would reveal your identity. The only thing is that these player's will have to have trade ships so you're not just casting on inactive's. Or make magpie's uncommon and make it the first player to steal 4 master craftmanship gets a special prize or something. OR their could be a challenge every 2 day's and after you completed a set number like 2 or 3 you get something. I can't beleive i thought of so many curses! I didn't even know i could do that. I would be on here but i was fishing today. I never knew my hand could get a sunburn till today! :oops: I think their should also be curses getting a special officer but those would go in the super rare i think.

Pls lemme understand.....you want (supra) ultra rare cards that....do what? Destroy players? One aspect by another?

Actually, I would not mind having a hundered of each. No, make that 15,000 of each. There are ways around most of them,but i think I wouldn't mind the Chaos that would ensue if they were common cards. :D

i quite think that this idea is not too bad actually
if we had mission for example that gets you the card you wanted it would add a more interesting aspect to the game
some of the cards suggested above are good some are overpowered
