I like the idea that voodoo concerning treasure hunting might be introduced. This card might need a bit of tweaking though.. maybe shorten the period to 24 hours, the turn count down to around 3, and stackable up to 5 cards? Picture someone stealing your shovel, and it'll take you a day to get a new one? although maybe if you're in some remote hidden treasure location it might take 2 weeks to find a shovel again... I don't know..

Also if voodoo is introduced in the equation of the treasure hunting, won't this mean the balance will again be slightly skewed in favor of credit buyers? Probably not in this card suggestion, but in general. I was thinking treasure hunting did not involve cards for a reason. Still, +1 because it makes us examine the treasure hunting business and might open up new possibilities for the game.

Given the new banks, will there be any player gold left in the ground to dig up?

Currently, if you max your account in every bank, you can stash about 65million, for less than 50 turns cost for doing so.

maybe the card that should be up for discussion is 'Oceans 11'... a crack team of villains is sent forth to rob the target bank...

Even if banks are there or not, treasure hunt and treasure burying is a great feature since bankers will soon have the ability to freeze accounts and Freeze cards are going to be introduced, we shouldn't allow freeze on recovering our own treasure. This will greatly affect the treasure hunt feature. And robbing banks you say... +1 for that and -1 for Stolen Shovel.
