William One Eye made an interesting Banana Party suggestion which got me thinking about this suggestion:
Name: Relentless Piracy
Rarity: Legendary
Type: Artifact
- cast on a port
Duration: 3 hours
Stacks: NO
Turn Cost: 18
Description: All plunder actions made by any player in the target port requires 1 less turn than normal. and the plundering fleet receives 2 less danger than normal.
The target port has an easily visible message on the map and the market page saying "Relentless Piracy! 2:28:37 remaining"
If a "Hostile Seas" spell was cast on the port then this spell reduces the stack of "Relentless Piracy" by 1 instead.
Crafting cost:
10x Advanced Piracy
5x Favorable Winds
1x Voodoo Storm
1x Ambush
1x Pirate Tales
Crafting Duration: 48 hours
Flavor Text: Your Master Witch Doctor has taken control of the seas surrounding the port and has instructed the winds to hold steady in a direction that gives a clear advantage to ships maneuvering into cannon firing position.
This is an expensive offensive voodoo spell that can NOT be stacked. This only affects 1 port so it would most likely be used when a player wants to raid a huge player or a guild in a certain port. The duration is 3 hours which is long enough for multiple Fugitive from Justice plunder rounds although the target may cast "Hostile Seas" to cancel it.
NOTE: Here I have suggested a 'counter' card to the Relentless Piracy suggestion which has the opposite effect (or cancels the effects of "Relentless Piracy" active on the target port).
