in what way? It is to be used as a preventative measure against attacks... a tool for defense, if you will. You use the same thing every time you use a mindbar or countercurse to prevent retaliatory voodoo or to shield a player from beneficial voodoo from allies so that the HNs/FuGs you just cast will not be a total waste of turns and time.
Should Mindbar and countercurse be removed? What about Treasure Fleet, allowing merchants to run really short and fast trade routes that generate extreme and obscene levels of profit for no danger?
These are overpowered for merchants, so why should they not be removed as well?
If you want to keep something from being implemented that will give your enemies an advantage you do not like, that says to me that you are a coward. You want things to remain the same kind of easy they've been for a while, but things cannot remain the same forever.
And, one more thing...
This card can be used by pirates to get off of the plunder board faster after a big raid...So it is not only beneficial to merchants, but to those who hunt them as well
In the beginning, the world was created. This has widely been regarded as a bad move.
