You think you can polish it a bit? Add some shadows too perhaps?

The shape is fine. The only problem is that it looks more like a clip art piece rather than an illustration which is our objective.

the ring should have some markings like (not the same but just like) the ring in the lord of the rings. that would indicate that the ring is not just an ordinary one.
