Maybe make it so you can’t cast on yourself? Idk I just post whatever ideas come to mind so I would love if people could make suggestions to them.

Could cap it on casts per day? Maybe two casts per target per reset, or even just one. I don't know if this is what you were getting at with the stack, but it could be made with a 24hr duration that persists after the effect is used so you'd have to use a seren/purify to cast it more than twice in 24hrs.
Could just increase the turns cost.
Alternatively it could give a nerfed undercover, maybe insted of being in the 50-200% fame range it could be 80-125%?
Could also give it a % chance to still fail the stealth, or a % chance to fail the cast.
A combination of the above where it only has a 20% chance to actually give undercover so you have to cast it 5x to get a 100% chance and you can only cast it 5x per reset, so you can have up to 5 maybe undercover casts or 1 definitely undercover one.
Or expanding on the range idea in a different direction, maybe a curse that extends the undercover fame range. I digress.

I like the overall idea behind it, was just recently thinking about it too, but 2 turns for a free guarenteed undercover on anything an unlimited number of times is basically like giving every card undercover. There's definitely a reason some don't have it.
