Your Tidal Wave returned with Blue Waffle (#6969), a level 1 Trade Galleon !!!

Additional info:
-Deserted stands for 0 crew and 0 cannons.
-Any ship that has 0 crew and 0 cannon may be victimized.
-Fleet status does not play a role here.
-A ships that is sunk (either by Call leviathan or battle) loses all its crew and cannons, therefore ALL shipwrecks are taken in account for this card.

They will get more once the shipwreck number ends as we will make it target the last ship of a player too.

Right now, if you have only one ship, tidal wave will not claim it, even if it is otherwise eligible. However, with the number of shipwrecks becoming thinner and thinner as time passes, we will need to resort to this. Except if the ship special abilities make it first (we could add a ship ability where it will attempt to send the ship to the sea bottom regardless of level)

I'll have to start towing an unmanned skiff behind the last ship in my fleet! Hmm...This could work against leviathans also..   8-)

By last ship of a player, i'm assuming you mean literally their last ship, not last ship in fleet etc?

The ship ability to send it straight to the bottom regardless of level, will that be for the attacker or the defender?
Examples:
You could have your level 10 SoL sunk by a ship that has an ability to sink ships, kinda epicly cruel, especially if it hit your MoW....
Or
If your lvl 10 SoL would have been taken because you couldn't pay the ransom, you can have an ability that fires the powder room and breaks its back, sending it to the bottom?

Suddenly the Tidal Wave card is almost obsolete since it only takes 1 fleet to hunt for shipwrecks. The only difference is that this card can steal player's ships if they leave them not crewed (very unlikely).
Is anyone still interested in this card?

And what about pirates sailing just one ship?

I don't believe allowing tidal wave to target the last ship is an appropriate action. Perhaps a requirement that the player must have been inactive for a certain time frame.

well another benefit is that a tidal wave is immediate, and can get a ship from any port, plus considering that it takes 12 hours for a fleet to salvage a ship, I wont be surprised if after the hype of a new feature dies down the people salvaging will go down aswell. its a new feature and so everyone and their mom is giving it a try hoping for a good haul. I been keeping track somewhat and found in about 3 days their have been around 3K salvages, that's roughly 1K a day. but I'm sure by mid January most people will slow down.
