How to hire crew/buy cannons/upgrade a ship

where do i hire a crew, the tutorial didn't say and i cant figure it out...

Make sure your fleet is docked at a port. Go to the tab named court and then click on biuld up port. it will tell you how many people you can recruit. if it says 0 you need to spend some money building up the port. the number of people you can now recruit goes up. Now go to your ship and click on it (headquater tab) then click on hire or fire cerw and type in how many people you want.

1.Click on Headquarters at left hand menu.
2.Click on Ships at right hand menu.
3.Click on ship type of the ship you wish.

You will be taken to the ship screen. You can hire crew from there, buy cannons, upgrade it, see resources carried etc
