How to Become a Pirate (bear Pirate Flag)
Posted: Mon May 16, 2011 3:05 pmEveryone starts the game under the selected nationality. Through missions you are able to change your Nationality. You are also able to revert to Piracy and bear a Pirate flag. To do this, you must reach the hostility with your current nation to 75 points!

Your hostility with every nation rises whenever you attack a Player OR a NPC fleet.
So, to become a pirate you have only to attack Players or NPC fleets from your country.
Click on Plunder link at the left hand menu and search for player targets. You may want to play it safe and try patrol.
Keep in mind that Patrol will generate fleets with nationality being 1 from the top 20 so if your country is not in top 20, no NPC fleets of your country will be generated. In this case, it is recommended that you either grow strong enough till you can pout your country in Top20 alone or change nationality to another strong nation and then become a Pirate by attacking this nation which will appear in Patrol missions.
