The nations update runs daily, approximately 10 minutes after the daily update (upkeep/etc). Here are some of the things that take place there, in the sequence that they take place:

2.Destroys trade routes of inactive players
3.Map Update
4.Title update for Dukes/Governors/Kings
5.Influence daily drop
6.Various daily nation stats update
7.NPC citizens Tax Law
8.Nation daily Economic Statistics update
9.Fame removal for inactives
10.Banking Stats/Ranks/Charts updates
11.Tons of maintenance/game statistic routines
12.Avonmora Herald release (not yet activated)
