Empty. You need space to bring ship home.

That's right ;)
If you hover the mouse (or touch once on touch screens) over the icon, you will get the exact number of gold bars.

Alternatively, click on the ship link you just found and then on Ship load to see all cargo in.

CJ - Can you state how many SOLT and MoW are on the bottom. This might help wet players appetite even more in this feature.

I think you posted this once before but I cannot find the thread.

No problem. It means MoW and SoTL counts %0.62 of the total shipwrecks. Its not that low. especially sotl counts tempting:)

We thought to create a global event whenever one finds a SoL or a MoW. Without including the name of the one who found it though.

just to add my little two cents on this,

I think this is a great feature of the game, quite appealing for new players, especially with low coins, yet a little bit to maybe do some shipwreck hunting, thus it's worth the trouble of working on this feature and keeping an eye on it, making sure is working as intended...

maybe, as a reward, the admins can add some extra shipwrecks to keep the numbers available, to keep the interest alive for players to use it and to reward those players who are active and using it...

either way, I think it's a great feature, a great idea...

as a suggestion, but on the same line

based on what I've seen on other pirates themed games - either for mobile devices or browser - some other rewards could be added to reward active players, returning players, like finding random crates with goods, items, products, resources that could be used by the one who finds them...

now, we shouldn't be made to hunt for those "free" crates or to spend turns, unless the reward is really worth it, but, even to add a little more excitement and maybe a bit of extra realism, why not find some free crates once in a while..??..

in real-life scenarios, it happened back then, in the age of sails, and it still happens now in the modern age of sea and oceanic travels, often some "garbage" can be found in the water, that can be salvaged as wood, or iron, or cotton, or whatever else...

somehow, that could be translated into our game here too...

maybe I should post this in the "suggestions" section, or maybe already someone else mentioned it, but I just felt it's somehow related to finding shipwrecks... if we search, hunt and salvage shipwrecks, which once again it's a great feature, then we should also find some free crates with goods, or even hunt for them in some areas...

how, or why we would know some free crates with goods maybe in one area - say a drunken ship captain wreck his ship on a small island, thus his ship and cargo are still floating around the area and rumors are circulating about it in the tavern... that will involve a more substantial reward and that would justify spending turns, to get there and search around...

or we could just find some free goods, randomly, while traveling from one port to another, say from another ship who lost some goods during a storm, or a battle or some kind of horrific event... we just pass by and find it and collect it and enjoy the rewards... this could be a smaller reward, not justifying using turns for it...

now, in theory, this is how it would look like

to implement in in-game, that's for the game admins-developers to decide and to find a way to make it work...
