Does cargo increases the chance of finding a ship?

Cargo and crew increase your chances of finding ships and better ships.

Basically, the larger and more expensive ships are better for shipwreck hunting. (a way to lure out the big vessels ;). )

It would seem a 5x MoW fleets loaded with gold bars has the best chance of finding a level 1 howker wreck... Rich! Rich !, we gonna be rich!

Interesting, a fleet of cutters can not even bring a Cutter up!

All this is going to help New players...

Someone use every ship, 5 in a fleet ( of the same ship )

And post your results here.

Fleet of large merchantmen with no cargo gave me LMM and below. Tried 4 times, got 2 LMM and 2 Sloop.

Captain Jack,
Can we please get a mass shipwreck hunting feature that lets us send multiple fleets at a time to search for shipwrecks? Currently if I want to send 10 fleets then I need to click it separately for each fleet.

I like to test new game mechanics. Just an FYI for all. I set 68 fleets to hunt yesterday. Of the 66 that have come back not only did I get ships ( none better then a LMM), I found 2361 gold bars. Happy hunting
I don't fear death. I look forward to it with great anticipation. For then I will met God face to face and let him know that I stole his Man of War!!!
