Does EIC affect goods produced in a plant and sold to the port ?
Current descriptor for EIC would indicate yes however, EIC was developed pre plantations and affects ship port sales. What about plants that sell directly to port market ? Is it affected as well ?

I'm drawing a blank here.... EIC?

It is difficult to confirm or discard this for plantation purposes

I think the sell price from plantations is fixed so no the cards would not increase it

Ah. Ok. I'm positive East India Company is for trade route sales. It may work on sales from a warehouse to the port, but I'd have to confirm. Plantation sales directly to the port are a pseudo-fixed price, meaning they can fluctuated based on port stock, but I'm pretty sure EIC doesn't work on them.

I cast an EIC and have been observing the effect upon the plant income as reported in the daily trade report.
Thus far, there has been no increase in reported income above the usual daily average, which has remained constant for the last week or so.

So, nope, EIC does not affect prices for plant sales to port.

Thanks, that is what I expected however my plants are in such a state of flux, nothing is consistent from day to day with regard to income.

I do think there is an argument to be made that EIC should affect plant sales to port : after all WIC affects port to warehouse/ship sales.
