I had 29 of 30 required loyalty points.

One of the objectives was "defeat specific NPC enemy" 5 loyalty points

I defeated it.

But I still only have 29 loyalty points. For some reason the NPC attack was not counted. Bug?

I think CJ has inserted a RAT into your browser to prevent you from playing the game properly. I would find others he has done this to and file a class-action.

IIRC, there is a timeout for the NPCs Monsters/Bosses. You have to do them right away. How long ago did you start the Nation Mission?

Umm, I don't think so.

Update: After searching all the ports, I finally found the SAME NPC again, battled it, and this time it did count and the mission was completed. Strange.

Probably network timeout between you and the DB.

But there is a timeout for the NPCs. I started Nation Missions when I first started playing PG and let it sit for months. When I finally decided to actually do the missions, I couldn't finish the Boss/Monsters. I had to restart the mission.

Oh, well this one had only been active since about two hours ago.

Network timeout, that makes sense, but it doesn't explain why the NPC later appeared in a different port.

You recently ranked up in another nation, right? Then it could be a remnant from your last mission for that nation, I believe. That's a possible theory, anyway. Or hypothesis, if you prefer.

That's also likely a scenario.

Ahh, I didn't even think of that. I thought I got all of em in my last mission, but maybe not.
