About banks and loans

Questions for bankers (I'm one too, but I can't say I very much explored bank possibilities).

 Can a player pay a loan even if the banker is inactive? I guess yes but
 Can a player still pay a loan if the banker opts to close the bank?
 Can a player still pay a loan if the banker closes the bank for now being a pirate?
(and a player may fly the jolly by will or just by inactivity)

As long as the bank is not closed, then Yes.

No. If I understand it correctly, any loans are frozen once the bank is "closed" to the public.

Unless I'm misreading this, this is posing an almost identical question as #2. Becoming a pirate willfully or via inactivity, will result in the bank being closed.

If you mean the player becoming a pirate effect the loan, then no. As long as the bank is open, it matters not what flag the player flies.

The banker being a pirate does not affect the loan, ok, but the bank closes and then the debtor is unable to pay. If I undestand it correctly.

I mean that a player may be closing the bank and still flying a Nation flag. Here's the difference among #2 and #3. In #2 the banker wants to close the bank, in #3 the banker has to. So there's a difference in causes but not in effects: the loan is not canceled but the player cannot pay it back.

Edit:
Then what happens when the bank reopens? Does the loan begin exactly from where it was frozen, or having passed time the payer is asked to repay all the remaining loan at once?

Lets say Bank A closes when Player B only paid the first out of 10 payments. This way Player B, willing or not, cannot repay the loan.
Later Bank A reopens.
Is Player B called to pay payment number 2, or is he/she called to repay the loan as a whole?

The repayments resume, the closed period effectively is a pause

Being a pirate doesn't close ur bank, no?
It just makes it impossible for you to use it, or any other banks.

Understand. The reason for the bank closing has no bearing on the loans. If the bank closes for any reason, any existing loans are frozen. If the bank re-opens, the loans are resumed.
