Instant Messaging Glitching Out?

Is anyone else experiancing Instant Messaging glitching out?
By glitching out I mean the following:
- Having to change or refresh the page in order to see a new message (Appears in the chat box for a second, and then vanishes till page changes).
- Chat Heads not remaining in its 'place' when talking to more then one occupant. (I know its on an activity timer, however I was talking to both individuals at the same rate and had to keep bringing up their chathead via the Friends Online bar.)
I use Windows 10, and the browser Chrome on both my Desktop and my Laptop - And both have the same problem. It also appears, Logging out then logging back in solves the problem for a random amount of time for both devices (Sometimes it is for a longer period of time, sometimes near instant it bugs out again).
