A few quick questions about the starter packs.
How long are they available to newcomers?
If I were to buy the Noble pack, would the Pirate and Merchant pack still be available for purchase?
If I bought one of those packs, would the 1000 turns for 100 credits still be available too?
Thanks for any insight.

They stay until you buy them and are worth it. In reflection the 1000 turns would have been better to buy once you have learned the game as I wasted mine.

I figured I'd use the 1000 turns to speed up the growing process, but I'll wait to use it then.
Thanks for the help.

keep in mind that the faster you go through your first 1000 turns, the faster you'll becoming a target. the 1000 turn protection is a wonderful thing, and can last ages if you want it to.

These offers DO expire. I never bought them, and one day, the offers simply disappeared. I do not remember how long time it took, nor do I know if they expire after a certain time period or after a certain number of turns have been spent. But the offer does not last for ever.

You should not advise anyone to do this. This is a clear exploitation if you attempt to play within the protection just to avoid hits. Players found exploiting this will face the consequences. We will have a look for such players today as the first step but please do not force administration to police over such things.

The limit is turn based. After you have spent a fair amount of turns, these offers disappear as you mention. I do not remember the exact number though. Most probably about 1000 turns spent.

Perhaps the "beginner protection" should end after one either spends 1000 turns or have played for at least 30 days, whichever comes first? That would remove the possibility for exploits.
