Does avenge activates even if the cast from the player is undercover?

This is only relevant if you are the person that cast the undercover. The player casting the avenge would be doing so blind if the casts against him/her were done undercover.

You can easily avoid being hit by not drawing suspicion to yourself before or after you cast the undercover voodoo.

This made me think of something though, if it does affect undercover voodoo, then you could find out who used undercover voodoo on you by casting avenge voodoo on all possible suspects until you find them. Granted you would probably make a lot of enemies, and it would probably not be worth the cost, but its interesting to me at least.

It seems that undercover is taken in mind for Avenge.
However, there is only one card that would allow the Undercover victim to find out its tormentor: Blacklist

Still, there are ways to defend against this and it can act as a small barrier to random undercover voodoo (ie, 2 booty masters do not trigger Avenge, 3 Booty Masters do).
