So, I had some fishing fleets and I noticed that HNs effect them when they are done fishing and go to the port to sell or store. And I was wondering if it's possible to add a pause button for fishing as well.

There is no way to pause fishing. The only way to stop fishing is to cancel the route, which is basically the same as cancelling a trade route.

A pause button needed to be added for fishing.

Do you ever pause a fishing trip no you cancel one you don't pause it for another day you cancel it and start again another day

It makes more sense the way it is.

Trade Route: Ships run one port (buying goods instantly) to another (selling them instantly) so you can pause by them stopping at the next port and resuming. I guess you can justify this by saying that you have people in every port (your warehouse I assume) that can tell them when you want to stop and resume.

Fishing: Ships are in one port where they are off of the coast, meaning they are not accessible to tell them commands. They fish until they were full then head back, where you can then tell them what you wanted. Personally I think it's better like this than being able to cancel it and send it back.

By pause I mean, when it returns to the port and would stop going out to fish until u resume.

Just cancel it - it is not that much effort to restart a fishing route.
