Nation Forums

What is the "limit" for how long a forum can go without receiving a post for it to be taken off of the Tavern screen?

Wales has 20 topics and the last one was posted a week ago but hasn't been removed.. It gets annoying when it doubles how long the page is normally.

Something to help this would be the King or Queen having the ability to delete forums
PM me any complaints (10M gold coin wire fee is mandatory).

8 Days. I thought a King/Queen could delete Forums. However, I do think that Nation Forums needs a massive overhaul. Personally I think that Nation Forums should be similar to the Guild setup, with a Nation discussion board, announcements, and a Forum Link Section. THis could all sit under the nations Information Tab Set.

Nations should be more formal than a guild in my opinion. I spend most of my time playing interacting with my guild, not my nation-- some people have proposed that nations/guilds are different and should serve different purposes, I support that. Guilds have all of those ways of communications because that's how the system was made, just like how nations are for business/national opportunities (not for just everyday chat and camaraderie). Just update some bugs in the nation forums where old forum pages cannot be seen and leave it at that.

Yes, Nations should be separate from Guilds, but a Nation should have benefits that are afforded to a Guild like more developed Forums and Discussion. I can belong to a Guild and at the same time want to discuss the development of my nation. I should have a better format to do so. As well, not everyone belongs to a guild. Joining a guild isn't a requirement for playing the game.

+1 I strongly agree

Nations should have an information page for prospective nationals, similar to a guild
the, party in control of the nation, should be able to add and edit information.

So you know the goals, atmosphere and benefits before joining that nation.

internally the nation should have a page similar to how guilds work

I think this would strengthen National Loyalty.

And talking in the nation forums isn't either. In my opinion, guilds > nations. In one game I've played, there are no "nations" but guilds that take bases (in this game it would be ports).

Nations are base in this game. You have to be in a nation (Pirates are technically a nation). You don't belong to a port (with exception to a hideout which you must choose and construct after some considerable gameplay, and even then the port belongs to a nation) and you don't have to be a member of a guild.

Nations are base in this game. You have to be in a nation (Pirates are technically a nation). You don't belong to a port, even with Hideouts (which you don't have to construct) you don't automatically change nations when the host port changes, and you don't have to be a member of a guild.

I have to be in a nation, but that doesn't mean I have to actually do stuff in the nation. If this gets approved it would be very low priority because there isn't really any need for it.
