Monty and I are in the same household. 3 different devices.

But I also log on from multiple devices during the day. Some days maybe up to 5 or 6.

Several ways to verify though. Static IP address, host account, even ways based on OS.

They determine it using other criteria then the ip address and device you are using.

Aye, I use (iPhone, iPad, Home PC, Work PC and I think I may have logged in once on my sons PC...)

In this case, they won't be able to track all data. Lana there are ways to game the system.. All of us can only hope that other will be trustworthy. Those untrustworthy show their true colors soon enough and are dealt with.

That is my point!
I think admins really do a great job here, but if someone want to cheat, they could do it and make jokes about it, smiling and thinking how smart they are... but

Operating Systems is a little cloudy... Millions of users use Win 10, Win 7 and Ubunutu for example, cant really narrow it down. :)

But Operating Systems would not matter, IF the person has more then one device :)

Hardware ID (Like Vane said), IP address (As stated), The persons playstyle and transactions - Sending money between accounts as an example.

Even the persons banking details - As cloudy as that is :o:

Each operating system has a serial number, I would assume that is what he meant

No sir, this is not the case. I used to have multi accounts, I will admit that way back when I was in HELM for the first time - Up to 3 years ago now, I believe. I used a software to bypass the one account one IP address rule (Which I will not mention the name of the software) and they still found me out :)

Trust me, they know what they are doing.

Oh yes, it does. However some pirated Operating Systems can have the same serial number. (I believe). So they may go to look it up and find a hundred people with the same device (Lets face it, if the person is smart enough to create two accounts, and not been found out he/she could also pirate software).

Seems like I got to watch out if anyone on my boarding school starts playing ...

Multiple devices
Well, playstyle? If you're good enough at acting skizofrene.
If transactions in-between the accounts are avoided...

Though, the admins are doing a really good job.
