Commandeer and Marina

Postby ChaIbaud » Fri Jun 03, 2016 12:09 am

Does the Commandeer card work if the ship is inside of a Marina? The ship-storing function requires you to take a ship out of its fleet, and the Commandeer card only works if the target ship is not in a fleet. So, technically, if one were to guess the ID of a MoW then would it work?

"It's impossible! It doesn't say the ship ID on Global Events!"

Someone who stalks the GE page can see that someone got their MoW seconds ago, make a ship and subtract one from the ID, then use Commandeer. Just asking if its already in a Marina if it would still work.

a ship in the marina is safe from everything I believe. although you could test it if you want.

Sure, give me the ID of your MoW in the Marina, Meliva, and I will test it out :)

from my understanding, ships in the marina essentially don't exist until you take them out. for that reason, commandeer would not work on a ship in the marina.

as for stalking global events page, all it would take is a quick spy network to get the ship number assuming the person has already withdrew the MoW

test isn't needed because ship stored in marina is safe from everything from upkeep, comandeer card, kraken, leviathan, swarm etc. so be at ease you won't lose your MoW due comandeer card if you stored it in marina

I hate to burst your bubble, but if I am not mistaken a MoW is not effected by Commandeer cards.

Really? It's safe from commandeer cards? How about Leviathan, can you attack a MoW with them? Can you sink a level 1 MoW with a levi?
