Hi, currently Daily Voodoo Chests are every 12h and 24h (for friends). This is pain to watch and be at the same time every day.
With +-1hour (11h and 23h) is easier to sign in and claim them. If you think people will gain 1 gift every x days, we are not everyone has to sleep at some point, most people sleep at the same time every day.

The time between the chests is just a cool down timer. It doesn't have to be done at the same time each day, the time is only a limiter to how soon you can collect the chest again.
