Welcome to the game

The game has not yet reached its basic version (1.0) which will be what we initially had in mind when we started. Of course, it would be good to say that these initial ideas have been enriched a lot during development. Even past this point though, game development is something that will not stop; as long as the game goes well we have absolutely no reason to cease development. We really hope to make this game a success and spend the rest of our life building it.
We are also not a new game, as we started about 4 years ago; the game is a bit big and has some hundrends or thousands of hours in development. However, the truth is that the game started becoming really interesting with the implementation of voodoo which took place about 40 days ago (and was in development for several years).
Since then, our playerbase grows every day.
We still have not made our grand opening to the public; we need to make it a bit more user friendly first. Now we only run a few ads and we have an average influx of 150 new signups per day which are mostly through word of mouth. Once we are done with the tutorial missions, we will attempt to invest more of both our time and funds into bringing even more players to this game.
The community has also been growing lately and we are ready to help in whatever way possible.
More specifically, here are some points to consider:
-More RP forums - You choose it, we implement it
-Newspaper for the game, where the journalists will be the players themselves (plus some system generated articles/events) (This is a big feature but less bigger than the countries ownership feature we are currently developing)
We also want to bolster guild to guild communication. In-game diplomacy (and the guild war feature I have proposed elsewhere) will be the basis of it.
Finally, to increase forum usage we want to give the players something to post. Like a battle result. Some of the battle results can be very interesting. Especially when beating a 5 SoL fleet or plundering a SoL. We need more feedback in this department however as I think that it lacks from being great.
Hmm, it seems that once again I wrote a whole lot more than I am supposed to write in a welcome message! I hope for your understanding.
Safe Travels!
