ATC, SSTA or SSTG and HELM are great for those who want to trade, but they're able to trade you to do combat as well. But, for combat, I would still suggest either PIRAT or MERC.

Merc and PIRAT are definitely set apart from the rest in their specialization. ATC is the counterpart, straight trade for the most part (with the exception of CDV now days lol). The others are mixes of privateers and traders.
